Central facilities

The Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt has eight central facilities that provide services for the whole University and help create an excellent working environment for students and researchers at the KU.


University Library
Users of the University Library have access to around 2 million books, 3300 journal and magazine subscriptions, and thousands of handwritten manuscripts and early printed books. More...


The Center for Interdisciplinary Flight and Migration Studies (F&M) coordinates current projects in research and teaching, as well as practical work with refugees, and acts as a communication platform for experts and interested laypeople.

The Center for Teacher Education and Educational Research (ZLB.KU)
coordinates and develops teacher education in collaboration with the faculties and the University Administration. It supports students who are enrolled in the KU’s teaching degree programs


University Computer Center
The University Computer Center operates the comprehensive network infrastructure on the campuses in Eichstätt and Ingolstadt, which includes the servers as well as 8 computer pools with over 150 workstations.


University Sports Center
From A for aerobics to Z for zumba, the University Sports Center offers students in Eichstätt and Ingolstadt over 120 courses in a wide range of sports.

Language Center
The Language Center is responsible for foreign language teaching for students of philology and also offers language courses for students of all degree programs. More...

The University Archive takes care of all material that is passed on by the University’s committees, faculties, and administration for archiving.
