DAAD-STIBET 2024 scholarships for international KU students

In 2024, the KU offers the following funding opportunities for international students at the KU who are suitable and in need: DAAD-STIBET scholarship for international students.

Target group

International students at the KU from the 2nd semester onwards

Free mover students and students in the preparatory DSH intensive course are excluded from funding.

The following types of scholarships are available:

  1. Graduation scholarships: to achieve a successful degree within one year as well as to focus on studies and graduation for scholarship holders in need through no fault of their own.
  2. The scholarship may not be linked to any service in return (no services, no employment, etc.).
  3. Scholarships for more equal opportunities: for scholarship holders with special challenges in their studies (e.g. refugees, people with disabilities or chronic illnesses, people with special care situations for children and people in need of care).
