Registration procedure and general information 

Registration for the Summer School 2017 is open. We highly recommend the early registration by March at the latest because the number of participants is limited. Registration works as follows:

  1. Please send us the completed and signed registration form by e-mail.
  2. You will receive an official registration confirmation, which also serves as an invoice. Please transfer the complete amount according to your registration confirmation and within the deadline.
  3. After the KU has received your program fees we will send you an official admisison document by e-mail. If you have to apply for a visa, we will send the original document by fax and registered mail.

Airport transfer is possible by train or direct taxi transfer (Munich, approximately EUR 120.00 per transfer). The International Office will provide all necessary information and help you to organize the airport transfer. 

 The Summer School program fees include:

  • free access to the internet on campus and to the library
  • two all-day excursions to famous Bavarian sites with guided tours (e.g. Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Regensburg, Weltenburg monastery)
  • dancing or acting classes with professionals
  • official welcome reception by the mayor and governor of Eichstätt in the "Spiegelsaal" of the former Prince Bishop's residence 
  • closing banquet
  • movie evenings
  • excellent tutoring 
  • and much more

Not included:

  • travel and personal expenses
  • health and accident insurance
  • meals (low-cost lunch is offered in the student canteen)

Academic recognition/credit transfer:

  • Participants will receive a documentation of credits earned. These credits may be transfered according to the regulations of the respective home university.
