Knowledge transfer and engagement through research

Knowledge transfer and engagement involve collaboration with stakeholders outside of academia, which creates added value for the economy and society. This collaboration can take place at any stage of the research process – from identifying research questions under consideration of the needs and non-academic viewpoints of external stakeholders, to involving them in the research process, or distributing research results beyond the academic community through publication and other forms of science communication.
