As a central facility of the university, the University Computer Center is responsible for all concerns of information processing and communication technology. In addition, it operates a dense infrastructure of networks at the university locations in Eichstätt and Ingolstadt, which integrates the German science network and the internet. It also operates several servers for communication services and data processing as well as nine PC pools with a total of 150 microcomputers open to all university members. Advice and training for all users are the focal point of its spectrum of services.
