Management and administration


The University Management at the KU consists of the president, the three vice presidents, and the chancellor. The Presidium is responsible for the day-to-day business of the University.

The president represents the University internally and externally, and is the chair of the University Management. She provides ideas on how the University can continue its development and drafts the University’s targets. The chancellor is the head of the University Administration, is responsible for the budget, and is the superior of all research support staff. In addition to the Presidium, the Senate and the University Council are the other central bodies of the University.

The University Administration provides services for students and staff at the KU and ensures that the University is able to fulfill its tasks in teaching and research. The University Administration is responsible for areas such as budgeting, human resources, and facility management.
