Ordinariate of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising

The Ordinariate of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising (Erzbischöfliches Ordinariat München und Freising) has been supporting the Center of Flight and Migration at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt with 1.1 million euros of annual funding since 2016. This funding is used primarily for research projects that focus on practical work supporting refugees; developing and implementing teaching and educational opportunities on the topics of asylum, migration, and integration; and offering refugees opportunities to start studying or complete their studies at the KU. It will also be used to establish platforms and formats for promoting exchange and dialogue. The Ordinariate currently plans to provide the same amount of annual funding for a period of five years if possible.
