Colombian delegation visits the KU

On the occasion of a seven-day field trip around Germany, a group from the Colombian Universidad de los Andes from Bogotá also visited the KU. Both universities have maintained a partnership since 2016. With this meeting, Colombian students were given the opportunity to find out about the possibilities for pursuing a doctoral degree and to consolidate their network.

The Universidad de los Andes is among the top ten universities in Latin America. Prof. Dr. Thomas Fischer, director of ZILAS, is currently supervising a project on the peace process in Colombia which also involves researchers from Universidad de los Andes, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Universidad del Rosario. All three universities are partner institutions of the KU.
