    Awarding of study place

    In the first semester the places to study for the bachelor’s course of business administration are allocated in an independent selection process. The basis of this selection of applicants is formed by the average score of achievements in school leaving examinations (Abitur).

    Applicants who completed an apprenticeship or who can proof any special qualifications for the bachelor’s study receive a bonus of 0.3 on the average grade of their university entrance certificate.

    Your application for the bachelor’s course of business administration takes place via our online application portal.

    International applicants without German highschool diploma find all information on this page.

    While logged in to the application portal you can save your application process and upload or alter your details gradually. 

    The completed and submitted online application meets the requirements for your application for admission – you do not have to send any documents by mail.

    You have to provide at the latest at your enrollment officially certified copies of your certificates or the original documents to verify the data given in your online application. If you have provided wrong information or if you do not have the required qualifications, admission will be refused.

    Other required documents for International applicants: the proof of passing the TestDaF or DSH examination (may be submitted up to the beginning of the semester)

    Welcome Day

    The WFI welcomes all prospective students to our Welcome Day in Ingolstadt. You can experience the faculty and our excellent study conditions yourself and have the possibility to meet students of the WFI and speak to professors and lecturers.

    A participation in the Welcome Day is not mandatory.

    Applications for placement in a higher semester

    To apply for a placement in a higher semester please use the online application portal. In summer term you can only start your studies in a higher semester.


    For first semester students the bachelor’s course in Business Administration starts only in the winter term.
