  • Philosophy

    The bachelor study program in business administration at the Business Administration Faculty of the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (in short: “WFI”) addresses high-achieving and very involved high-school graduates.

    In a curriculum of more than six semesters, bases are laid in the first three semesters regarding business administration and economics, quantitative methods (mathematics and statistics) as well as law. In addition to the regular “mandatory subjects” it is required to attend a study course in the areas of business ethics and furthermore at least one business language. Students get the opportunity to choose from the wide range of compulsory elective subjects, which are of particular importance at the WFI.

    Therefore the WFI provides a comprehensive bachelor program, which is scientifically based and further integrates practical and intercultural aspects into the education. In this way an optimal preparation for a successful career respectively a following Master program is given.

     

    Commitment

    However, the studies at the WFI should not be restricted to learning. Most students are involved in various student organisations and thereby develop their soft skills with a lasting effect.

    Practical Relevance

    A study at the WFI offers numerous opportunities to transfer theoretic knowledge into practice. The cooperation with leading companies from different business sectors provides our students best perspectives concerning internships and starting positions in Germany and abroad. Moreover, the faculties’ own career fair Company Day or recruiting events as well as company presentations and workshops offer the perfect chance to network.
