  • What to expect?

    The master specialization in market-oriented management (MARKT) at the WFI provides outstanding opportunities for an excellent course of studies. Students earn the degree “Master of Science” after 4 semesters of studies and a workload of 120 ECTS credits.

    Overall aim

    In the specialization MARKT students focus on decision problems and issues of market-oriented management and analyze their impact on potential markets and business areas. After graduating students will be able to run a company in a market-oriented and value-based way by taking the interests of all stakeholder groups into consideration, thus ensuring long-term economic success.

    During their studies, students work in teams to develop solutions for specific practical problems on a scientific basis. The focus is on interdisciplinary concepts related to the key topics of strategy, structure and systems. WFI has been among the top German business schools for years now and provides students with contacts to more than 20 renowned partner companies, offering best perspectives on internships and career opportunities.

    Modules

    Students can choose modules from a wide range of subjects that cover the areas of business management, industrial sectors, international management, marketing and services.

    Students at WFI

    In MARKT students primarily participate in interactive modules which focus on strategic and operative-tactical decisions of market-oriented management. Students benefit from small course groups that demonstrate the excellent lecturer-student ratio of 1:11 at WFI. In addition, guest lectures from Germany and abroad open up new perspectives for students.
