    Requirements

    First qualifying degree (Bachelor) or first state examination in one of the following degree programs:

    • Business administration
    • Economics
    • Law
    • Government and political sciences (Staatswissenschaften)
    • or related degree programs

    and at least 180 ECTS credits; 135 ECTS credits out of the required 180 must already have been obtained upon application for the Master’s program in Taxation.

    If you are unable to present the final academic record when applying for the program, we require an official list of all completed coursework and assessments including the average grade.

    The final academic record will then have to be presented upon enrollment. 

    Allocation of admission slots

    The allocation procedure will be carried out in several successive steps.

    Once the formal requirements for application are met, the candidates will have to attend an aptitude test based on their application documents. Relevant assessment criteria will be the final grade of the Bachelor’s degree, any relevant prior experience, professional experience and completed internships, foreign language skills and experience abroad as well as voluntary work and other social engagement. 

    Candidates who have passed the aptitude test will be invited to an oral selection interview.

    You can save your interim application process status, which means that you do not have to enter all your information at once. This also allows you to upload documents which are still missing at a later stage.

    The fully completed and submitted online application is sufficient for your application for admission – it is not necessary to send documents by mail.

    At the latest upon enrollment, you will have to present the originals of your certificates and academic records or a certified copy so that we can verify the data you entered in the online application portal.

    Other required documents for International applicants: the proof of passing the TestDaF or DSH examination (may be submitted up to the beginning of the semester)
