    • Students acquire excellent specialist knowledge on a high academic level. The degree program extensively covers tax law content as relevant for the tax advisor examination. Other focus areas of the degree program are tax policy-making and approaching current research methods
    • Students learn to combine scientific consistency with practice-oriented thinking
    • Students enhance their personal profile and social skills
    • Students reflect on ethical and social implications of entrepreneurial decision-making processes

    Practical Approach

Students at WFI have many opportunities to put what they have learned into practice. Thanks to collaborations with leading companies in the tax advisory business and other branches of industry, we are able to offer our students excellent prospects when it comes to finding internships and starting a career in Germany or abroad. Networking opportunities are provided by our career fair “Company Day” and recruiting events, as well as presentations by companies and various workshops. Right from the start of the program, the practical component within the course of study is provided by lecturers from practical fields. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to prepare their Master’s thesis in collaboration with a company, advisory firm or institution (e.g. EU Commission, ifo, IMF) and thus start entering the professional market already during their studies.

    International Focus

WFI has partnerships with many renowned universities. Students are able to spend a semester abroad at one of over 90 partner universities within a unique network.
