Barbara Maurer

Hello and welcome!

My name is Barbara Maurer and for many years I have happily taught German as a foreign language at the KU Eichstätt.  I grew up in the Tergernseer Valley which is located in the foothills of Bavaria. I am still drawn to hiking in the mountains or at least to spending time outdoors. Such opportunities also exist in the Altmühltal, which has been my second home for over 25 years. I am married and have four grown children. I look forward to meeting you and wish you a wonderful and eventful stay here in Eichstätt.

Simone Ming

my name is Simone Ming. In addition to my Master‘s degree in psychology, sociology and media-pedagogy, I am also qualified to teach German, history, and social studies at grammar schools. Since my studies, I have been teaching German/DaF (German as a foreign language), social studies, history, and ethics at secondary schools. I currently teach at the public professional school in Ingolstadt as well as at the KU. My love for German language, grammar and spelling, as well as – not to say the least! – the poetry of sonorous words accompanies everything I do. I am passionate about intercultural cooperation and exchange as well as discussion and discourse. My credo: All teachers and students give and take from each other – for now, for later, for life.

I look forward to our collaboration….
