Master’s degree program InterculturAd – Intercultural Advertising

German–Finnish double Master of Arts program at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU) and Åbo Akademi University in Turku.

Four semesters:

  • Two semesters in Eichstätt (Germany)
  • Two semesters in Turku in the Swedish-speaking part of Finland at the Swedish-language Åbo Akademi University

Languages of instruction:

  • German
  • English

New foreign language:

  • Swedish

Four semesters:

  • Language in advertising, project workshop on communication strategy, visual communication, research seminar on advertising language, image film workshop, research on the effects of advertising, intercultural workshop, ethics in advertising and business, intercultural business communication, intercultural marketing management, international business, B2B marketing, career coaching.

Students:

  • Students from a variety of countries and disciplines
  • Graduates of Bachelor’s programs in the humanities, social sciences, media studies, cultural studies, and business studies at universities in Germany and abroad

Start of the program:

  • Only in the winter semester in Eichstätt

Application deadline:

  • Germany: July 31
  • Finland: April 29

Accreditation:

  • Accredited by the Bavarian State Ministry of Education Science and the Arts in 2014
