Psychological counselling

Studying at university is sometimes a challenge. You can contact the KU’s Psychological Counselling Service at any time if you are experiencing difficulties and want to talk to someone about them. The Counselling Service can help with topics such as:

  • Difficulties in your studies and in the context of examinations
  • Stress management
  • Social anxiety
  • Problems with partners
  • Problems with parents
  • Eating disorders
  • Questions about addiction (e.g. nicotine, alcohol, internet)
  • Loneliness, depression, guilt, anxiety, suicidal thoughts
  • Psychosomatic disorders The Counselling Service guarantees absolute confidentiality.

Drop-in session: Wednesdays, 1.30 p.m.–2.30 p.m., room KG-B 019

You can come to the drop-in session for an informal conversation with us in which we will determine your needs. The drop-in session is anonymous and free of charge.

The Psychological Counselling Service is funded by Studentenwerk Erlangen-Nürnberg and the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. A small fee is charged for counselling sessions (10 euros for individual sessions, 15 euros for couples’ and family sessions). Students may be exempted from paying this fee in cases of financial hardship.
