Visiting fellow at Stanford' Hoover Institution in 1997-99, and Harvard's Weatherhead Center in 2001-02. Bosch visiting lecturer at Yekaterinburg's Urals State University in 1999-2001, and Kyiv's Mohyla Academy in 2003/2005. Temporary lecturer in Russian and East European studies at St. Antony's College Oxford in January-December 2004. DAAD visiting lecturer at Kyiv's Shevchenko University in 2005-2008. Research Fellow at Eichstaett's Catholic University since 2008.
