Dr. Marina Tsoi studied international relations, political science and history in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) and Eichstätt. After completing her doctoral studies at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, she worked at the International University in Central Asia (IUCA) in Tokmok (Kyrgyzstan), first as a university lecturer, then also as head of the "International Relations" program.
In 2010, she came back to Germany and worked as an adjunct lecturer at the KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt for Central and Eastern European History, and organized the annual international summer schools within the DAAD project "Conflict Prevention in the South Caucasus / Central Asia and Moldova Region". In addition, she worked as an online lecturer for conflict studies at IUCA.
She is also co-editor of the journal "Forum for Eastern European History of Ideas and Contemporary History" and the Russian edition of "Forum". In addition to teaching at university, she has also worked as a teacher for migrants at the vocational school in Eichstätt.
Since 2020, she has been responsible for the cooperation projects with JWL as project coordinator and supervises the "Learning Facilitator" course.
