Automated return of books is now followed by self-checkout: On Wednesday, February 15, construction work will begin in the foyer of the Main Library to set up a pick-up area for ordered media, self-checkout terminals, a new information area, and a new entrance to the reading room.

During the lecture-free period, the University Library opens with changed hours:

• Dept. Libraries Ulmer Hof and Aula: Mon–Fri | 9 a.m.–4 p.m. (Feb. 20 to April 16,2023)

• Ingolstadt Branch Library: Mon–Fri | 8:30 a.m.–6 p.m. (Feb. 25 to March 31, 2023)

With a view to upcoming exams at the WFI, the branch library will also open on Sunday, February 5, 12 and 19 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The maintenance work on the central interlibrary loan server has been completed, the interlibrary loan functions are available again as usual.

From now on, you can easily use the lockers in the foyer of the Main Library with your KU. Card or your library card with a green line. To lock and unlock the compartments, hold your card against the lock of the locker and press the button.
