KU scholarship program for young female researchers

In order to promote equal opportunity of women in research and teaching, the KU awards scholarships to excellent young female researchers who are part of a qualification project at the KU. Selected female doctoral candidates receive 1,200 euros a month for a maximum duration of 12 months, habilitation candidates receive 2,400 euros a month for the period of one year. The regulation stipulating the funding conditions and criteria is available here. (Currently only available in German)

Before submitting an application, it is recommended to seek advice of the Center for Research Promotion and in case of specific questions on the application process advice of the KU women and equal opportunity officer.

All scholarships for the 2018/19 period have been granted.

It is expected that applications for scholarships will be possible again from the 2019 summer semester.
