Dr. Dacek is presently a faculty member for the Learning Facilitator course leading to a professional certificate from the Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU) and Jesuit Worldwide Learning (JWL). She has previously worked with JWL as a faculty member for the Instruction Across Cultures and Exceptionalities course in the Education concentration. Dr. Dacek is an Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Services for the Bellmore Public Schools.  In this capacity, she has responsibility for curriculum, instruction, special education, pupil personnel, and serves as the Chief Information Officer, homeless liaison, and Civil Rights Officer.  Dr. Dacek received her doctorate and advanced certificates from Dowling College. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Adelphi University, she completed Master’s Degrees from Syracuse University in School Psychology and the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Theology.  Dr. Dacek is passionate about home-school engagement, educating the whole child, and bringing out the leadership potential of all learners.
