KU Summer School 2017 - fully booked!

The Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt kindly invites you to the 34th International Summer School 2017. The program is intended for students in the areas of German studies and social sciences, but also for professionals. We offer courses for absolute beginners and other courses for participants with good to advanced knowledge of German.

The 'classical' KU Summer School includes an intensive German language course in the morning and an academic program (taught in German) in the afternoon. You can choose ONE of the following modules: 

KU Summer School 2018

16 July – 10 August 2018 in Eichstätt

The Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt kindly invites you to attend the 35th International Summer School 2018. The program is - as in previous years - intended for students in the areas of German studies and social sciences as well as - for the first time - students of journalism, media relations and Peace and Conflict-Studies, and also professionals.  

The KU Summer School 2018 will consist of an intensive German language course in the morning (all language levels available, language courses will be taught in German) and an academic program in the afternoon (two will be taught in German; one is going to be taught in English). You can choose ONE of the following modules: 

  • Course I – Study German in the Heart of Bavaria (87 hours)
    Intensive German language course and cultural introduction to Germany  - for Beginners and Newbies to German Language & Culture, Language of instruction is German

  • Course II – Intensive German (57 hours) 
    and German Literature (29 hours) - for intermediate and advanced German speakers, Language of instruction is German
  • Course III – Intensive German (46 hours) 
    and Crisis and their Effects on German Society (41 hours) - no prior knowledge of German needed, German Courses are available in all Language Levels, Language of instruction of the afternoon program will be English
