Information on the internship

According to the examination regulations, 10 ECTS must be acquired for an internship of at least 8 weeks in industry or in a research group at a university. A 5-10 page internship report must be written. We recommend doing the internship around the fifth semester. A suitable period is therefore, for example, the lecture-free period during the summer break. You should try to find a suitable internship early on.

The KU Career Center provides information on internships in Germany and abroad. In addition, workshops and lectures are offered on the topics of applying for jobs at home and abroad, acquiring skills and personal development. The events provide personal and professional orientation and are free of charge. We recommend taking part in an application training course for your internship
