Master's programe flight, migration, society
Brief description
The master's programe, which is offered in collaboration with the center of flight and migration, gives an impression on various theoretical and practice-oriented subject areas. The focus is on political and social challenges as well as on refugee and migration research.
The spatial, economic, socio-cultural and political organisation of social living conditions are dealt with, e.g.
- economic and socio-cultural realtions and processes
- entanglement regional and global structures
- historical-social and social conditions of flight and migration
- roles and relationships of different actors
- cultural changes through flight and migration
Different fields of social action - such as family, education, culture, language and religion - are addressed as well as questions of identity and foreignness.
