To apply for the MBA Program, please fill out the Online Application Form in Step 2 and upload the required documents.

Take advantage of our "Quick Application". Apply only with your CV and Letter of Motivation (Document 1 and 2). The required certificates and supporting documents (Documents 3 to 7) can be submitted after you have successfully passed the personal interview. Until the documents are received and reviewed, admission is conditional. If the required documents are not submitted, admission to the MBA program cannot be granted.

The following documents are required for the application:

1. Curriculum Vitae
2. Letter of Motivation (max. 1,000 words)
3. First University Degree Certificate in German or English Language
4. First University Degree Transcript of Records in German or English Language (including all ECTS or credit points earned)
5. Proof of Postgraduate Work Experience of at least 2 years (Evidence issued by the company)
6. Proof of English Language Skill (Level C1 (Cambridge Certificate) or higher - skills must be proven before the start of the first semester; e.g. by submitting a TOEFL iBT (minimum score of 90), or IELTS (minimum score of 6,5) or an equivalent certificate)
7. Proof of German Language Skills (Level A2 or higher - proven by the end of the second semester and until then, matriculation is subject to providing the required proof; e.g. by submitting the German „Abitur“, a Goethe A2 certificate or an equivalent certificate)

We encourage you to complete your application as soon as possible as we are accepting applications on a rolling basis.

The aptitude test is carried out by WFI - Ingolstadt School of Management after the application is received.

An oral interview will be held with the candidates who meet the required conditions. The date for the interview is announced at least one week in advance.

If a candidate is not admitted to the program, the candidate will be notified of the reasons for denial and informed of the rights of appeal.

The aptitude procedure consists of an oral interview of about 30 minutes duration. The purpose of the aptitude procedure is to assess whether the applicant's personality, skills and knowledge meet the special qualitative requirements of the degree program and whether it can therefore be expected that the objective of the program will be achieved. Assessment criteria are in particular:

• Knowledge of operational structures and processes and the functioning of markets,
• Abilities in understanding complex interrelationships and in analytical thinking,
• Skills in carrying out transfers,
• Ability and willingness to work in a scientific and responsible manner.

The aptitude procedure is passed if all the examiners have passed the assessment. The result of the aptitude procedure will be communicated to the applicant in writing.

After passing the selection procedure and (re-)submitting all required documents, candidates are eligible for enrollment.

After the end of the application period, incoming applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and, if applicable, considered for the move-up procedure or, if requested, for the coming year.

• Start Winter Semester: October 2025

We expect all MBA students to be on campus in Ingolstadt, Germany, for the Orientation Day at the beginning of the semester (Mid-October), followed by the first weekend of in-person classes. We recommend all international students to apply early (at least 7 months in advance) and allow sufficient time for the visa application.
