Research Interests
My research focuses on linguistic pragmatics and its interface with syntax. Apart from the theoretical modelling of linguistic data I am interested in developing and testing empirical methods of data acquisition and also in statistical analysis. I am trying to find adequat methods to answer pragmatic questions and try to determine how the results are best modelled statistically. An overarching goal of my work is to determine the limitations and advantages of digital and computer-based research for theoretical linguistics. My research is part of the research cluster focusing on digitalization at the KU.
