Izmir Kâtip Çelebi University and the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt are jointly implementing the project “Ecotourism as an Alternative to Turkish Mass Tourism”, supported by DAAD and TÜBİTAK.
As part of the project, a stakeholder workshop will take place in İzmir on Friday, 9 October 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00. The workshop will bring together stakeholders connected to ecotourism in and around İzmir and provide an open space for sharing experiences and ideas, exchanging perspectives and engaging in dialogue.

- How can ecotourism contribute to a more sustainable future for tourism in Izmir region?
