Vocatium Ingolstadt

In June, the “Vocatium” trade fair for vocational training and higher education took place at the Saturnarena in Ingolstadt. Alongside numerous companies offering apprenticeships, counseling institutions, and other universities, KU was also represented with a central booth.

The Mathematics and Data Science programs were represented by Prof. Dr. Nadja Ray, Dr. Sarah Eberle-Blick (both from the Chair of Geomatics and Geomathematics), and Prof. Dr. Marcel Oliver (Chair of Applied Mathematics). In addition to raising our profile in the region, we hope this will inspire interested high school students to pursue a degree in mathematics.
