SPP Carbon Allocation Workshop in Cologne

At the end of March, professors and postdocs of the SPP project "Carbon" met in Cologne for their annual exchange. For the Mathematical Institute for Machine Learning and Data Science (MIDS), Prof. Nadja Ray, holder of the Endowed Chair of Geomatics and Geomathematics, participated in the conference.

The various methods, some of them new, innovative and experimental, and their frameworks, limitations and implementation possibilities were discussed. Subsequently, it was discussed which approaches to modeling are conceivable. The group would like to publish the gained knowledge in a joint paper.
