Start-up funding approved for the MIDS

As part of the Bavarian funding program for the initiation of international research cooperation (BayIntAn), two start-up grants were approved at MIDS for 2024:

• "Spanish-German project on the approximate solution of partial differential equations"
  (Janin Jäger; cooperation partners Joaquin Jódar from the Universidade de Jaén and Miguel Rodríguez, Spain from the Universidad de Granada)
• "Coupling of free flow and flow & transport processes in porous media considering clogging pores and poroelastic effects"
  (Nadja Ray, Raphael Schulz; cooperation partners Jakub Both, Kundan Kumar and Florin Radu from the University of Bergen, Norway)
