The connection between sustainable development and social engagement was the focus of the international "Transformation CAMPus" at the KU. This two-day event brought together over 60 partners of the "Uniservitate" network from twelve nations, some of whom also participated online - from Poland, Ukraine, and Italy to Kenya, Argentina, and Ecuador. The network aims to link academic learning with civic engagement at Catholic universities worldwide under the heading of Service Learning and promote it. Within Uniservitate, the KU serves as one of seven regional hubs worldwide and maintains contact specifically with partner organizations in Central and Eastern Europe as well as the Middle East.
