The tax function in the digital age

As part of the course “Tax Function 4.0 – Strategic Management Tasks in the Age of Digitalization” offered by our lecturer Günther Hüttinger, we visited EY in Munich last Friday.

The participants presented their work on the transformation of the tax function in the digital age. The topics ranged from the operationalization of a tax compliance management system (Tax CMS) to the procedural processing of tax audit findings and the use of generative artificial intelligence in tax.

There were also plenty of opportunities for personal interaction: lunch provided an opportunity for in-depth discussions and pleasant company.
