Double-degree in Business Administration: One Bachelor’s program – two degrees and the best of both worlds

The KU's new German and French double Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Global Management makes the dream of studying abroad come true. In the new double-degree program, a stay abroad is an integral pillar of the course. At the end, graduates are awarded two degrees. The new course is offered by the KU's Ingolstadt School of Management together with the renowned Toulouse School of Management (TSM). The program will start in the 2025/26 winter semester and interested students can apply from April 1.

Applicants for the new double Bachelor's degree should have an enthusiasm for economic topics, an affinity for numbers and the desire to become part of an intercultural double-degree program. The double Bachelor's degree course in Business Administration and Global Management focuses on economic issues, in particular the international management of companies. "With this course, we want to provide students with a sound basic knowledge of business administration and qualify them to take on management and specialist tasks in a national and international working environment", explains Business Administration professor Dr. Jens Hogreve, whose Chair introduced the new degree course. The specializations chosen in the second part of the course are tailored to different professional fields and include both interdisciplinary and international aspects. The fact that the course can be studied entirely in English also speaks for its international character.

The KU already offers other double-degree programs: In economics, but also in subject areas such as political science, advertising and communication as well as peace and conflict research. Annemarie Schulze is studying the Digital Customer Experience & Service Design Master's degree in Business Administration, during which she also alternates between Toulouse and Ingolstadt: "Completing the double degree in Toulouse means laying the foundations for an international career", says Annemarie Schulze, explaining her motivation for choosing this course. "Toulouse is big enough to enjoy all the amenities of a big city and small enough to build a social network quickly. TSM is famous for its internationality and excellent teaching and the city itself offers the perfect environment to have an impressive experience abroad."

The Business Administration degree program offered in cooperation with the partner university in Toulouse enables students to gain an additional degree in Global Management. They complete the first three semesters at TSM. Here, students are taught the basics of Business Administration. In the fourth semester, students continue their studies at the WFI. Here, they choose their individual study specializations and freely elective modules. After successfully completing the course, graduates are awarded two degrees: a Bachelor of Science from the KU and a Bachelor’s degree from TSM.
