Eichstätt delegation participates in TEIMUN 2018 in The Hague

Leave the campus – enter the world: What are our students up to during the semester break? They test politics in a practical environment rather than just studying, for example! Eleven students from the course “Communication and Diplomatic Negotiations in International Relations” took part in “The European International Model United Nations” TEIMUN – in The Hague from 15 to 22 July. “Model United Nations” are mock scenarios which simulate the work at the United Nations. Students turn into delegates of different UN member states. The self-designated diplomats from Eichstätt discussed international policy topics with over 150 students from all over the world in the Netherlands – including issues such as illegal financial flows, famines, humanitarian crises and climate change. The group was led and guided by lecturer Anne Friedrich.
