Following the successful launch of the scholarship program "Lehramt.International" of the DAAD this spring of 2019, scholarships will again be awarded to teaching students and graduates in 2020.
Please note the following changes to the application modalities:
The minimum funding period for graduates has been changed to 3 - 12 months (previously: 6 - 12 months)
For both funding lines (students & graduates) it is now necessary to write a motivation letter - according to the instructions
The internship must take place at a suitable school institution (no higher education institution or pre-primary education). For this a qualified confirmation (DAAD form "Praktikumszusage") has to be presented which at the KU is signed and stamped by the International Office. There are now four application periods, which determine the start of funding:
November 01 - December 15, 2019 for start of funding between January 15 - May 31, 2020
March 01 - April 15, 2020 for start of funding between June 01 - August 31, 2020
June 01 - July 15, 2020 for start of funding between September 01 - December 01, 2020
October 01 - November 15, 2020 for start of funding between January 01 - May 31, 2021
