Together with Reinhard Baller, Stefan Minner, and Zhen Lai, we develop an efficient formulation for inbound logistics optimization. In a real-world case study with a car manufacturer, the model is tested and reduces costs by more than 30 percent compared to the status quo. These cost savings come along with CO2-emission savings of more than two third.
