Presentations at IFORS 2026

The chair contributed four presentations to the scientific program. Merve Ibis presented a hybrid learning approach for the dynamic dial-a-ride problem with heterogeneous fleets and customer preferences. Alexander Rave introduced an optimization model for designing Hyperloop transit networks that jointly considers demand, fares, and infrastructure decisions.

Pirmin Fontaine presented research results on fair tactical planning in cooperative two-tier city logistics systems and Philipp Parche an agent-based simulation study investigating the potential of increasing freight transport on Germany's inland waterways.

The IFORS Conference is one of the world's leading conferences in Operations Research and provided an excellent opportunity to present current research, exchange ideas, and strengthen collaborations with the international research community.
