Part-time student assistant (m/f/d)
Economic data analysis with a focus on data science
for the period from 04/2024 to 03/2025 with up to 40 hours per month. An adjustment of the number of hours is possible by arrangement. Place of work is Ingolstadt. Part of the hours can also be done remotely.
Your tasks:
As part of the externally funded project "European Basic Income Scheme", you will support us with our economic simulation models. The focus of your work will be on
▪ Data preparation and processing, in particular visualization of data sets (R, Shiny or optionally Stata/Python)
▪ Collaboration and further development of microsimulation models
We would be delighted if the results and ideas generated could be incorporated into a student research project or Master's or Bachelor's thesis, which we would be happy to support.
Your profile:
▪ You are an enrolled student in the Business Administration (Bachelor/Master), D3B, Sustainability in Business & Economics or Data Science degree program
▪ You have an affinity for statistics and econometrics as well as quantitative methods
▪ You have initial knowledge of one of the programming languages R, Stata or Python
▪ We highly value creativity and an independent way of working
