The conference, which takes place every three years, was held in Okinawa (Japan) this year. The Triennial Symposium on Transportation Analysis conference brings together renowned researchers from all over the world to discuss the latest developments and research findings in the fields of transportation, logistics and mobility.
At the workshop, Pirmin Fontaine presented a joint research project with Johannes Gückel. The project developed a methodology that leverages machine learning to efficiently approximate solutions for game-theoretic cost allocations – specifically Shapley values – in the context of vehicle routing problems.
