From January 31 to February 2, 2019 a workshop, organized by KU Eichstätt and TU Dresden, on teaching politics titled "Actual research questions of Political Education" took place for the third time. The cooperative colloquium aims to facilitate exchange between professors and research fellows on the subject of teaching politics and civic education. On this years program, actual research projects were presented, such as international political education offers, museums as places of political learning, satire as civic education, rightwing-extremism challenges for political education or othering as denial of social participation and inclusion. Additionally, students of the teacher program in civic education of KU Eichstätt were encouraged to participate on the workshop and gain knowledge about actual research issues of political education. The colloquium is based on a cooperation between Prof. Anja Besand (TU Dresden) and Prof. Rico Behrens (KU Eichstätt). The workshop was organized by Stefan Breuer and Anne Friedrich.
