Events that can lead to a re-booking
A re-booking may occur to correct errors that were made unintentionally when registering in KU.Campus and subsequently taking the examination under an incorrect examination entry.
There are four basic types of cases in which a re-booking must be made:
- The student did not register for the correct examination entry because (1) the title line in the examination entry was the same as the title line in another examination entry, which led to the student (2) unintentionally registering for the formally incorrect examination entry in KU.Campus, but in fact taking the correct examination for their module. In this case, you may have registered for an exam with the correct designation and taken the correct exam and your examiner confirms that the grade has been entered, but you do not see your grade in KU.Campus or an incorrect module appears in your transcript of records.
- There are two ECTS credit variants of the module and the student has registered for the examination for the other variant instead of the one that they have actually completed. For example, you might have written and passed a written assignment for which you should receive 10 ECTS credits, but only 5 ECTS credits are recorded in your transcript of records.
- The required examination entry was not recorded correctly in KU.Campus by the responsible subject coordinators, but the student has nevertheless completed the relevant examination for the module. For example, you were unable to register or login for the examination entry of your module in KU.Campus because there was no corresponding examination entry, but you still took and passed the correct examination and your examiner informed you that you could then have your performance "credited" to your module.
- Several module versions are available due to different examination regulation versions of a degree program and the student has registered for the wrong exam, e.g. for a previous module version. For example, you have logged in or registered in the module entry with the correct designation according to the examination regulation on the examination entry for your examination and your examiner confirms that the grade was entered correctly, but you do not see your module in the overview of grades for your degree program.
Procedure if a re-booking is necessary
It is neither necessary nor sensible to submit a credit transfer request in none of the cases mentioned above that lead to a re-booking. No formal request is required for a re-booking.
Instead, please contact the Examinations Office directly using the contact form . Select your degree program and the category "Examinations (registration/login, de-registration, incorrect registration/login)" and describe the circumstances that led to you registering/logging in for the wrong examination entry. In all cases, the responsible examiner must confirm the facts for the Examination Office.
So, a re-booking does not constitute recognition or credit transfer.
