Common case of confusion 2: Recording credits for an exam

Events that can lead to credits being recorded for an exam

If your overview of grades in KU.Campus does not show all the modules that you have already successfully completed in a required elective or elective area, this is simply for technical reasons, which may occasionally arise due to the complexity of the data structures. However, this does not mean that your data is lost in such a case, it is just not yet displayed in your overview of grades.

In such a case, the examination entry must be booked onto the so-called main module in KU.Campus, which is carried out by the Examinations Office.

Procedure if recording credits for an exam becomes necessary

If it is necessary to record credits for an examination you have passed to a main module, it is not necessary or sensible to submit a credit transfer request. No formal request is required for recording these credits.

Instead, please contact the Examinations Office directly using the contact form and select your degree program and the category "Datenabschrift” (list of grades) and provide the facts and, if possible, the module number of the module missing from your list of grades.

So, recording of credits for an exam in this case does not constitute recognition or credit transfer.
