Politics & Society

Democracy under pressure. Social division. Global conflicts. Politics and Society is a field more relevant than ever.

At the KU, students analyze political and social issues — from local politics to international relations, from migration to conflict and peace. The approach is interdisciplinary, practical, and focused on the questions that really matter.

BA Politics and Society

For anyone who wants to understand how societies function — and why they sometimes fail. The Bachelor's degree program combines Political Science and Sociology with five specialization tracks and the option to choose between an international or research-oriented focus.

BA German and French Political Science

Two countries, two perspectives, one degree. This bi-national degree program combines Political Science at the KU with a study abroad semester in France — at an Institut d'Études Politiques — and prepares students for careers in European and international contexts.

BA Latin American Studies

Latin America is one of the most dynamic regions in the world. This interdisciplinary degree program combines history, political science, geography, linguistics, and literary studies with intensive language courses in Spanish and Portuguese.
