The database information system DBIS has been shining in a new design since October 15, 2024. With the latest version, the layout and user interface have been completely redesigned to make it more modern and intuitive to use. The interface is now also available in English.
DBIS helps you to find the right databases for your research needs. DBIS shows you which databases are freely available and provides you with access to databases licensed for the Eichstätt-Ingolstadt University Library.
The new DBIS version was developed in a project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG, https://gepris.dfg.de/gepris/projekt/440516279?language=de). In broad cooperation with national and international libraries, the Regensburg University Library further developed the database information system into a web service that is closely aligned to the new needs of users. DBIS lists all important information on databases, enables a quick and well-founded selection and allows individual views to be flexibly adapted.
