Congratulations to Hidde Schönberger on his successful doctoral defense

On July 18, 2024, Hidde Schönberger successfully defended his PhD thesis titled "Nonlocal Gradients Within Variational Models: Existence Theories and Asymptotic Analysis." The thesis focuses on developing a comprehensive theory around new models in the calculus of variations involving nonlocal gradients, which have applications in materials science and image processing.
