• Jul. 2017: Doctoral degree from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. Thesis topic: Distance, Rating Systems and Enterprise Finance
• 2012–2017: External doctoral candidate in Economic Geography the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.
• Jan. 2013–Dec. 2015: Recipient of a doctoral grant from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.
• 2004–2010: Studied human geography, political science, and economics at the University of Potsdam, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and the University of Nottingham. Magister thesis title: Ethnic versus Religious Grocery Shopping. An Investigation into the Shopping Place Selection of “South Asian British Muslims” in Nottingham.
