Access to the Ehemalige Orangerie is free of steps. The entrance door is equipped with an electronic door opener and the upper floor can be reached by elevator (width: 80 cm). Access to the respective parts of the building complex is via walkways (width: 65 - 80 cm). Some of the doors leading to these walkways are very hard to open and have thresholds up to 7 cm high. The PC pool (room eO-001) is located on the first floor of the left building wing. It is accessible via a stair lift. If you would like to use it, please call the number indicated there (+49 8421 9321157). The door frame of the room also has a 5 cm threshold. Access to the geography lab rooms is through a side door on the outside of the building. There are steps leading to the door.

An accessible toilet is available (door width: 80 cm; room eO-014). Handicapped parking is located in some distance behind the Waisenhaus building or in the parking lot near the canteen.

Unfortunately, a guidance system and Braille door signs are not yet available.
