Canteen and cafeteria

When hunger strikes, you can head to the canteen, which offers a selection of different hot meals each day and also has a salad bar. Afterwards you can enjoy a piece of home-made cake in the cafeteria. Payments are made with your canteen card, which also functions as a copying card.

Lunch and snacks

Studentenwerk Erlangen-Nürnberg runs 25 canteens and other gastronomic services at various universities in Bavaria, including the canteen and the cafeteria in Eichstätt. The canteen has space for 400 people, with extra seating outside in the summer. The canteen is open from Monday to Friday between 11.30 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. It offers three or four hot meals each day, one of which is vegetarian or vegan. There are also side dishes, a salad bar, soups, and deserts.

During the lecture period the cafeteria is open from 8.15 a.m. on weekdays until 7.00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and until 2.45 p.m. on Fridays. The home-made cake, which is baked fresh every day, is always popular!
 

 

KU.Card can also be used at canteen

You can also pay for your meals and snacks at the canteen and cafeteria using your KU.Card (student ID card). Simply top up the credit on your KU.Card at the machines in the foyer of the canteen.
You can either pay cash or use a debit card (EC-Karte).

Canteen in Ingolstadt

The canteen and cafeteria in Ingolstadt are run by Katholische Canisiusstiftung, which also manages several student residences in the city. The canteen is located at Konviktstraße 1, just a short walk from the Ingolstadt campus. It is open from Monday to Friday from 11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and usually offers a choice of three different meals each day. The canteen is closed during August.
