New for student parents: Parent-child parking spaces at the KU

The KU would once again like to contribute to family friendliness and is establishing parking spaces for student parents with children. There are parking spaces in both Eichstätt and Ingolstadt that can be used when students bring their child to campus. This applies until the child starts school.

In Eichstätt, there is a designated parking area in the cafeteria parking lot.

In Ingolstadt, parking is available in the KU's large staff parking lot.

To use these parent-child parking spaces, a special parking permit and a parking lot transponder are required, which can be applied for at the room administration (Ref. III/2, raumanfragen(at)ku.de).

The age of the child must be provided as proof. The informal application must be submitted via the KU e-mail address. The parking permit is valid for the current semester and must be extended accordingly.

The parking spaces can be used on the days on which students take their child to the university.
