The fact that KU students are significantly more satisfied with study conditions at their university compared to their fellows at other universities all over Germany was already confirmed earlier this year by the study quality monitor (Studienqualitätsmonitor) independently of the CHE ranking. The study quality monitor is issued by the German Center for Higher Education Research on an annual basis in collaboration with the Research Group on Higher Education at the University of Konstanz. The representative survey conducted among more than 1100 students revealed that KU students particularly praised teaching commitment, close contact among the students, an excellent practical focus in courses and that the KU also conveys an ethical sense of responsibility and teaches the ability to work in a team.
